The Driving Force Behind the Classic 1924 Chevrolet

The Eagerly Anticipated 1924 Chevy

1924 Series F Superior Chevrolet

1924 was a good year for William S. Knudsen, when he became the new president of Chevrolet and joined the GM Board of Directors. But, because of the drop in sales due to a stale product line, 1924 was not a very good year for Chevrolet .

The consumer considered the new Series F Superior line offered by Chevrolet to be old-fashioned with an average design and poor build.

This new vehicle, which had a price range of $490 to $940, was called the "world's lowest priced automobile." There were 307,775 Chevrolets (including Canadian-built cars) produced in 1924.
